We are proud to announce that MKU Limited has signed a landmark contract with the Indian Army for the supply of 29,762 units of its state-of-the-art Netro NW 3000 Night Vision Weapon Sights, valued at approximately ₹660 Crore. The contract, concluded under the Raksha Mantri’s powers, is among the largest electro-optics orders ever placed by the Indian Army, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to building indigenous capability under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

This also marks one of the largest contracts ever for electro-optics in India. It reiterates MKU’s Netro Optronics division's unwavering commitment to innovation and technological excellence in pursuit of India and Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, a self-reliant and globally competitive India in defence manufacturing. Through sustained investment in R&D and a sharp focus on indigenously designed electro-optic systems, MKU continues to empower India’s armed forces with world-class night vision and thermal imaging solutions that enhance situational awareness, target acquisition, and operational dominance. The Netro NW 3000 underwent rigorous evaluation and extensive field trials, standing as a testament to MKU’s technological depth, reliability, and uncompromising quality standards.

The agreement was signed in the presence of the Defence Secretary, Shri Rajesh Kumar Singh, IAS, and Dr. Ajay Kumar, IAS. The Netro NW 3000, designed and developed indigenously by MKU under the IDDM (Indigenously Designed, Developed and Manufactured) category, is compatible with Assault Rifles and provides enhanced night-fighting capability, empowering heroes to operate with superior clarity, precision, and confidence during nighttime operations.

Earlier in July 2025, MKU had also secured another major electro-optics contract under the Vice Chief of Army Staff’s powers for the supply of 5,642 Thermal Imaging Weapon Sights for Light Machine Guns. With both these back-to-back successes, MKU continues to play a pivotal role in enhancing the Indian hero’s operational edge across diverse combat environments.
