Generation-3 Image Intensification Technology

Generation-3 Night Vision Sensors

Netro night vision devices use Generation-3 Night Vision Sensors that use gallium arsenide (GaAs) in the photocathode to exponentially increase the sensitivity of the core, particularly in the near IR bands.

Generation-3 sensors offer enhanced performance as they can amplify light around 30,000 to 50,000 times while still being extremely energy efficient

Higher Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR)

Netro Night Visions devices offer higher signal to noise ratio or SNR. Higher SNR signifies better low light performance and better image quality.

It is a ratio that measures amount of light reaching the eye vs. the ‘noise’ or static observed by the eye. Netro night vision devices use smart optics coupled with Generation-3 sensors to deliver much clearer images in low light conditions.

Bright Source Protection

Netro Night Vision devices feature in-built bright source protection and fail-safe mechanisms to protect the devices from the damaging effects of bright light.

They feature auto gating response technology which automatically and very quickly readjusts the device to protect the sensors and the operator’s eyes from potentially harmful bright flashes of light. Netro night vision devices also feature automatic bright light cut-off to protect the night vision device from accidentally getting damaged if opened or operated in brightly lit surroundings.

Netro night vision devices comply with MIL-STD-810G for ruggedness and durability. They are highly water resistant and built ruggedly to withstand harsh and rough weather conditions.
