The Kavro MSH-74 is a compact, lightweight and ergonomically designed ballistic shield developed
to provide reliable protection while maintaining high operational mobility for law enforcement and
tactical intervention units.
The shield features a slightly curved ballistic structure to enhance frontal protection and operator
comfort. Its design incorporates tactical cut-outs, including weapon support cut-outs for stabilizing
firearms during aiming, a lower cut-out allowing the shield to rest on the operator’s thigh during rest
phases and an upper cut-out facilitating forward movement while maintaining protection.
The ballistic composition provides uniform multi-impact protection across the shield surface and is
designed to stop projectiles without perforation while preventing secondary fragments or ricochets.
The ballistic materials maintain their performance under extreme operational conditions from –25°C to
+75°C and are protected against UV radiation, dirt, humidity, chemicals (oil, grease, acids) and bodily
fluids. The shield structure is built to withstand violent impacts, immersion and friction during ground
contact. The shield is designed with positive buoyancy, ensuring that it remains afloat in water.
