At Milipol Paris 2025, MKU Limited unveiled three groundbreaking innovations:

·       The Netro Aksion Thermal Core

·       The Kavro Kiro’X Ballistic Ceramics

·       The upgraded Kavro Doma 360 Ultra Helmet

These launches signal India’s growing technological confidence and global relevance in soldier and platform protection and optronics. These solutions are not just new products, but represent a shift from a nation once dependent on imports to one now developing and exporting high-performance defence technologies.

A Moment That Hits Close to Home

This showcase comes at a time when the Indian Armed Forces have already placed their trust in MKU, awarding a major contract for 29,000+ night vision weapon sights. Meanwhile, soldiers in several high-risk deployments are now using the Kavro Doma 360 Ultra helmet, which provides advanced protection, including against armour-piercing rounds.

For families of soldiers, for every home where uniforms hang next to civilian clothes, for every parent who sends their son or daughter to the front, these advances are more than engineering; they are reassurance.

Aksion: Giving Soldiers the Power to “See What Matters The Most”

The Netro Aksion Thermal Core is India’s most advanced thermal imaging engine: compact, smart, rugged and designed for weapon sights, UAVs, surveillance equipment, vehicles and other optronics platforms. Built around a high-precision sensor and intelligent image processing, Aksion gives soldiers clarity in darkness, fog, dust storms, and battlefield chaos.

Its name, rooted in Sanskrit — “Aks” meaning image and “Ion” symbolizing energy and motion — mirrors India’s journey from vision to capability

Kiro’X with Kavro Doma 360 Ultra: Protection That Evolves With Threats

Modern combat threats are changing, faster, harder, and more complex. MKU’s new Kiro’X ballistic ceramics and the enhanced Doma 360 Ultra system address this reality with lighter, stronger, multi-hit armour engineered to stop rifle rounds including API threats.

This development marks MKU’s entry into the advanced ceramics domain, a capability previously dominated by select nations.

India Is Not Just Catching Up — It’s Leading

With deployments in over 100 countries, MKU now stands among the select few global companies capable of designing, manufacturing and qualifying advanced optronics and ballistic protection, from concept to large-scale delivery
