Bullet Test:

As the name suggests, helmets are tested by firing bullets on them for their bullet resistance strength. The commonly followed standard for Bullet testing on helmets was constituted by National Institute of Justice, USA. In recent times the NIJ Specification 0106.01 has gained lot of importance due to its higher bullet speeds & their more damaging lethality. MKU helmets have always shown positive results when subjected to various levels testing as per NIJ 0106.01 specifications. The NIJ 0106.01 testing procedure specifies that the helmets be tested by firing 4 bullets from a distance of 5 meters as per chart below. The helmet is considered compliant to the respective levels only when it is able to resist all 4 shots.
