The MKU Tank Crew Helmet is also known as the (CVC) Combat
Vehicle Crewman helmet. It has been designed specifically for
compatibility with the headsets of the tank crew. The round cut
over the ears enables usage of various make & kinds of radio
equipment.
The battle field is full of noise & sound that lead to damaging
ricochet effect in conventional helmets. MKU has designed a
superior cushion pad system to overcome the ricochet & thus
enabling in better situational awareness.
The helmet shell has a raised brow cut that helps the crew to
use the Night Vision Device & NBC masks with ease. Tank crew
helmet is able to withstand high speed fragments from
exploding artillery & shells. On a 1.1 gram STANAG fragment it
offers a V50 of 670 m/s.
