The Mine Clearance helmet from MKU is a variant of the MKU
PASGT Helmet. It has been specifically designed to address
the problems of poor visibility, protection and discomfort of De-mining & Bomb Squad personnel.
This helmet has been designed to provide good ventilation
and a snug fit. The ergonomics of the helmet provide for
greater visibility while the ballistic fragmentation shield
provides extensive facial protection.

of a V50of over 550m/sec (against a 17 grain fragment), 50
while its standard face-shield is capable of providing a
ballistic resistance of a V50value of upto 250 m/sec.
