MKU offers highly cost-effective ballistic protection through its Cerazone Armour Plates which can be used either with vests or as stand-alone plates. Cerazone Armour Plates use Aluminimum Oxide (AI₂O₃ ) on the strike face and different composites in the backing configurations; they are available in various shapes, sizes & specifications.

MKU's Cerazone armour is a well defined system of spall lining, ceramic tiles and reinforced composite backing material. The ceramic strike face of the armor destroys the penetrative effect of the bullet and its remaining energy is absorbed by the composite backing. The spall lining protects from secondary fragments.

MKU employs various backing materials in its Cerazone Body Armour like PE, Aramid & FRP either alone or in combination, depending upon the protection, weight and trauma levels required/specified. Cerazone Armour Plates from MKU have been tested, certified & approved by the best domestic and international laboratories.
